Services
Happy Pets, Unbeatable Pet Care

Pet Visits: One or two 30 minute visits per day.

Pet Sitting: Stays of up to 4 hours per day. No overnight stays or boarding.

Dog Walking: Solo or small group dog walking. Up to a maximum of 3 dogs.

House Cleaning: I can vacuum, dust, wash, collect your mail, water plants, open & draw curtains and put the rubbish out for collection, as well as checking in on your beloved pals. Offered only as an addition to one of my other services.
All services offered will include a FREE initial 30 minute consultation at a time convenient to you.
Pet Care
Regardless of your animal’s type, age or mannerisms, each of my services offered can be customised specifically for them and their needs. Price List
SMALLER PET VISITS
(Cat/Rabbit/Hamster/Guinea Pig/Rat/Budgies etc)
- 1x 30 min visit a day = £12
- 2x 30min visits a day = £18
Visit includes feeding, fresh water, cleaning, grooming, socialising & playing, dependant upon owner’s request.
PET SITTING
(Smaller or larger pets)
- £10 per hour of pet sitting
- Up to 4 hours of sitting per day. Minimum pet sitting stay of 2 hours.
A good option for those nervous pets that need someone to sit, socialise or just let them out for a toilet break but whom need a little longer.
DOG WALKING
Solo/Individual Dog Walking - Prices per day:
- 45 min walk = £12
- 1 hour walk = £14
For Group Dog Walks 2 - 3 dogs:
- 1 hour walk = £10 per dog
Unlike other dog walking services I offer bespoke 1-1 solo walking services, as well as smaller groups only (no more than 3 dogs maximum). This is to ensure the safety of your dogs at all times. Transport to a local green space is included or I can offer a solely local lead walk, if this suits your dog(s) needs better. This is so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet(s) are getting the attention they deserve.
HOUSE CLEANING 🚿
- £12 per hour
I can clean and tidy your home whilst visiting your pet or before/after taking your dog for a walk. You can simply come home and relax - knowing your pet is happy and your home is looking great!
This service is offered as an addition ONLY to a pet visit or a dog walking session. Maximum of 3 hours offered per day.
Please Note:
I’m a qualified and accredited Pet Sitter and Dog Walker operating my business since 2018. I update all my training and insurance on a yearly basis. I'm fully insured and DBS checked & cleared.
I'm a qualified Mental Health Practitioner, previously working in the NHS as a nursing practitioner for almost 10 years. I'm therefore both able & confident to administer your pet's regular medication via their food or direct via tablet, syringe or dropper, if this is a service your pet requires.

Hi, I'm Lisa and like you I love animals and treat my pets as one of the family.
I have had years of experience looking after my own pets, from dogs, to cats, rats, rabbits, hamsters and a budgie too.
I was fed up of putting my cat in to a cattery when we were going away. He became stressed and sick and as a result needed medication for cystitis whenever we had to leave him. I was far happier paying someone to come round to my house to look after and feed my cat, in the comfort of his own home. I thought that I mustn't be the only person needing someone else to come and help attend to my pet's needs. It is this idea that led me to start up Portsmouth Pet Sitter.

I pride myself on being an attentive, caring and reliable professional that will go above and beyond to make your pet happy and comfortable. I can customise the service offered according to yours or your pet(s) individual needs.
I am fully trained and hold a level 3 accredited certificate in Pet Sitting & Dog Walking , this includes training on animal emergency care & first aid. I am fully insured and DBS checked for your peace of mind. Certification is to be presented to clients at initial consultation.
I previously worked as a qualified Mental Health Practitioner within the NHS for almost 10 years. I'm educated to post graduate level (Mental Health Practice) and did my first degree in Psychology (2:1), completing a dissertation on Animal Psychology, Interspecific Animal Communication & Behaviour.

All services will be preceded by a FREE initial consultation (30 minutes) to discuss you pet(s) needs and usual routine, and the customer is to complete the relevant forms (pet information sheet, pet sitting/dog walking contract & emergency veterinarian treatment waiver) before any services can commence.

I will always provide services with professionalism and the upmost care of your pet whilst maintaining the safety of the public and myself at all times.

I have the right to cancel or cut a service short if an animal does not respond well to me and must make the owner aware as soon as possible.

All dogs must be sociable with other dogs and children.

I do not walk dogs that are in season.

Whilst walking a dog I have the right to cut short the service due to extreme weather conditions, this is for the safety of both myself and your dog.

I will not be responsible for any veterinary bills for the animal and I will ask you to sign a waiver in the event they need to be taken to the vet's for medical treatment.

All animals should be up-to-date with flea, worming and vaccination treatment, they should also be in good health and have a reasonable behavioural condition.

Portsmouth Pet Sitter can not be held responsible for any loss, injury or death to the animal, inside or outside of the clients home.

If the client returns home early, for any reason, no reduction in fee will be made.

The client will authorise me to handle any emergencies that may arise, and I will make every effort to contact the owner immediately.

Clients will provide all essential items for animal care, for example food, treats, cleaning items and bedding.

Dog walking cancellations should include 48 hours notice or the normal fee will be charged.

Pet Sitting cancellations made less than a week before the sitting is due will be charged at the full amount.
